Kylin Palace: A Unique Sales Center Design by Zhuye Xu

A Fusion of Nature and Art

The inspiration behind the Kylin Palace design is to create a space where the boundaries between nature and art are blurred. Zhuye Xu explains, "We are in it, but we don't know where nature ends and where art begins." This concept is brought to life through the innovative use of light and the breaking of space boundaries.

One of the key strengths of the Kylin Palace sales center is its excellent environmental protection sunken garden waterscape. This feature guides visitors to explore both the interior and exterior spaces, creating a harmonious connection between the two. The commercial club within the sales center showcases a unique and captivating design that enhances the overall experience.

The materials used in the Kylin Palace project include stone, glass, and metal. These materials not only contribute to the aesthetic appeal of the design but also reflect the modern and elegant nature of the space. The project covers a total area of 3961.96 square meters, providing ample space for visitors to immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere.

The Kylin Palace sales center is a testament to the creativity and innovation of Zhuye Xu and the design team. The use of block splicing skylights in the negotiation area creates a captivating visual experience, as light and shadow tell the story of the past. This attention to detail and storytelling elevates the design to a whole new level.

The project, which started in October 2021, is set to be completed in December 2022 in Suqian. Throughout the design process, extensive research was conducted to ensure the use of high-quality materials and craftsmanship. The elegant rotating stairs and transparent art wire glass in the lobby enhance the cultural atmosphere and luxury of the space.

The Kylin Palace sales center design presented several challenges, particularly in terms of incorporating light design. However, these challenges were overcome, resulting in a space that is natural, comfortable, and welcoming. Each resident is greeted with a unique natural environment, showcasing the distinctive living experience of Shuyang.

Zhuye Xu's design philosophy is evident in the Kylin Palace sales center. The artistic filigree glass at the entrance and turning point defines the zoning of the space and adds a sense of ceremony. The overall gray tone is complemented by large flower green stone and matte metal decorations, creating an elegant and sophisticated ambiance.

The Kylin Palace sales center design has been recognized for its excellence and creativity. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2022. This prestigious award acknowledges designs that demonstrate ingenuity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to improving the quality of life through art, science, design, and technology.
